Wooden Vespa… part deux

Remember my first Wooden Vepsa post? No? It's here. Well, I think someone may have seen it and decided taking a design classic and recreating it in wood wasn't a bad idea. This version is probably aimed at the "more money than sense" crowd… or any with 'mod tendencies' who've had their numbers come up on the Lotto… this is one expensive scooter. We're talking between £8,995 to £12,995 depending which model you go for.

So what do you get for all that cash? A work of art, according to the makers DigitalVeneer. Each brand new Vespa is "transformed by craftsmen into an authentic and unique work of art. From the rich Digital Veneer™ Mahogany mirror finish to the hand stitched leather seat, design elements from these legendary speedboats are accurately recreated, evoking the glamour and La Dolce Vita of the original."

Every "tribute" Vespa carries a numbered limited edition silver plaque, and cna be further customized to meet your exact requirements. It certainly does look rather nice… and if I had a superyacht… that's what I'd probably park on the poop deck.  More here. Thanks to Modculture for the heads up.
